چکیده

In medicals sciences and reliability engineering, the failure of individuals or units (I/Us) occurs due to independent causes failure. general, symmetry between dependent is essential nature problem at hand. this study, we considered accelerated competing risks model when lifetime I/Us was modeled using a generalized half-logistic distribution. The data were obtained with respect constant stress life tests (ALTs) type-II progressive censoring scheme. dependence structure formulated copula approach (symmetric Archimedean copula). parameters estimated maximum likelihood method; only two bivariate Pareto functions proposed. approximate confidence intervals constructed both asymptotic normality distribution MLEs bootstrap techniques. Additionally, an estimator system under normal level constructed. results from estimation methods tested by performing Monte Carlo simulation study. Finally, analysis sets levels performed for illustrative purposes.

A copula model for dependent competing risks

Many popular estimators for duration models require independent competing risks or independent censoring. In contrast, copula based estimators are also consistent in presence of dependent competing risks. In this paper we suggest a computationally convenient extension of the Copula Graphic Estimator (Zheng and Klein, 1995) to a model with more than two dependent competing risks. We analyse the ...

Marginal Regression Analysis for Semi-Competing Risks Data Under Dependent Censoring

Multiple events data are commonly seen in medical applications. There are two types of events, namely terminal and non-terminal. Statistical analysis for non-terminal events is complicated due to dependent censoring. Consequently, joint modelling and inference are often needed to avoid the problem of non-identifiability. This article considers regression analysis for multiple events data with m...

Gene selection for survival data under dependent censoring: A copula-based approach.

Dependent censoring arises in biomedical studies when the survival outcome of interest is censored by competing risks. In survival data with microarray gene expressions, gene selection based on the univariate Cox regression analyses has been used extensively in medical research, which however, is only valid under the independent censoring assumption. In this paper, we first consider a copula-ba...

Pseudo-observations for competing risks with covariate dependent censoring.

Regression analysis for competing risks data can be based on generalized estimating equations. For the case with right censored data, pseudo-values were proposed to solve the estimating equations. In this article we investigate robustness of the pseudo-values against violation of the assumption that the probability of not being lost to follow-up (un-censored) is independent of the covariates. M...

Estimating the association parameter for copula models under dependent censoring

Many biomedical studies involve the analysis of multiple events. The dependence between the times to these end points is often of scientific interest. We investigate a situation when one end point is subject to censoring by the other. The model assumptions of Day and co-workers and Fine and co-workers are extended to more general structures where the level of association may vary with time. Two...
